Torrenueva: Viewpoints and Cliffs - Hanging Walkway of Peñón de Jolucar

This route explores the cliffs and viewpoints around Torrenueva with its hanging walkway. The route is 10.8 km long, has an elevation of 138 m and takes about 3.5 hours to complete.

LONG DESCRIPTION
We start the route at Playa de la Pelá. We then walk along to the Playa de Torrennueva Costa and up to the Mirador Peñón de Jolucar. We continue on up to reach the hanging walkway (Pasarela Colgante de Jolúcar) although there is an alternative route round for anyone suffering from vertigo. We follow the coast round to the Mirador El Hondurón and on above the Playa de la Joya to circle round the lighthous (Faro del cabo Sacratif). We walk above the Carretera del Mediterráneo to cross over and round along to the Mirador. From here, we make our way back down to the starting point.
